Dokster Privacy Policy

Dokster is a KMWorks app for working with documents on your device. This policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and what is not collected by KMWorks.

Information Dokster Accesses

Dokster accesses only the documents, files, images, scans, text, signatures, and document metadata that you choose to open, create, import, edit, scan, export, or save in the app.

Dokster processes document content locally on your device. KMWorks does not operate a Dokster cloud service and does not upload your documents to KMWorks servers.

Dokster does not sell personal information, does not collect personal information for advertising, and does not use advertising SDKs.

How We Use Information

Information handled by Dokster is used only to provide app features such as:

• Opening, editing, organizing, and exporting documents.
• Scanning, converting, or preparing document content.
• Saving files and preferences selected by you.
• Sharing or exporting documents only when you choose to do so.

Permissions

Dokster may request access to device features such as files, photos, camera, or storage when those permissions are needed for document features you choose to use. For example, camera access may be used to scan a document, and file access may be used to open or save a document. These permissions are used to provide the requested feature, not to collect data for advertising or tracking.

Storage and Sharing

Documents are stored in the locations you choose, such as local device storage or a storage provider selected by you. KMWorks does not share your Dokster documents with third parties.

If you export, share, or upload a document through another app, operating system feature, or storage provider, that action is controlled by you and may be subject to that service's privacy policy.

Third-Party Services

Dokster is distributed through Google Play and runs on device operating system services. Google Play and the operating system may process information for app distribution, installation, security, updates, diagnostics, or platform operation under their own privacy policies. KMWorks does not use this policy to authorize advertising, tracking, or sale of Dokster user data.

Retention and Deletion

You control the documents and files you create, import, scan, export, or save with Dokster. You can delete those files from the app, from your device, or from any storage provider where you saved them.

Because KMWorks does not operate a Dokster cloud account or document storage service, KMWorks does not retain copies of your Dokster documents. If you contact us for support, we keep support messages only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, and protect the service.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by the app. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Dokster is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as Dokster changes. The latest version will be available at this URL, with the effective date shown above.
